The attorneys in the Litigation practice group represent plaintiffs and defendants in civil and criminal actions, both in state and federal trial courts and on appeal. We also advocate for our clients in proceedings before administrative agencies and in alternative dispute venues before arbitrators and mediators. Our commercial litigators are business lawyers who have the skills and experience to present complex commercial disputes to judges and juries. These disputes typically involve negotiable instruments, contracts, leases, loan documents, shareholder agreements, confidentiality and non-competition agreements, real estate contracts, equipment leases and transactions governed by the U.C.C. Our clients range from large national banks and closely held corporations to partnerships and sole proprietorships. When necessary, we work with the attorneys in our Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy, Environmental Law, Construction Law and Municipal Law practice groups to provide as much experience as necessary to address the client needs.
