Addison F. Vars III reelected as President of the Samaritan Foundation of Northern New York
In March of 2007, Addison F. Vars III was reelected to serve as President of the Samaritan Foundation of Northern New York. The Foundation’s purpose is to raise public awareness and participation in various health and wellness programs as well as assist in raising funds to support Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, New York. The Foundation has recently commenced a $10 million capital campaign as part of a $60 million hospital expansion and renovation project.
Addison F. Vars III is the managing shareholder of the firm’s Watertown office. He is a member of the Commercial Transactions and Real Estate practice groups. Mr. Vars has served as general counsel for numerous small businesses and non-profit corporations and has represented various financial institutions in residential and commercial transactions. In addition to serving as President of the Samaritan Foundation, Mr. Vars serves on the Board of Trustees of Samaritan Medical Center and the Antique Boat Museum.
