Attorney Jeffrey A. Dove was a speaker at the New York State Bar Association’s program entitled Working Out and Litigating the Problem Loan on May 18, 2007 in Syracuse. The program included a discussion of the strategy and tactics involved in the negotiations and litigation arising from a problem loan. Panelists included judges, lawyers and financial institution representatives.
Mr. Dove is a member of Menter, Rudin & Trivelpiece, P.C.’s Board of Directors and serves as the chair of the Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group. He has represented debtors in all phases of Chapter 11 cases, including contested litigation matters, as well as borrowers in out-of-court workouts. He has also served as counsel to senior secured lenders in out-of-court restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr. Dove has earned an AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating system, the highest ranking an attorney can receive from his peers. He has also been named to the Best Lawyers in America. On matters of bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation, Mr. Dove serves as a regular lecturer for the New York State Bar Association.
