Thomas J. Fucillo spoke at Environmental Law Seminar
Thomas J. Fucillo was a speaker at a New York State Bar Association Seminar entitled Practical Skills - Environmental Law for New Environmental Practitioners and Newly Admitted Attorneys in Syracuse on November 30, 2007. The program provided a fundamental overview of New York and federal environmental law. Mr. Fucillo spoke regarding Article 78 proceedings and Citizens' Suits.
Mr. Fucillo manages the Environmental Law practice group, advising clients on a full range of environmental regulatory issues and litigating environmental disputes before state and federal courts. Mr. Fucillo also provides extensive counsel and litigation support concerning the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). He is Special SEQRA Counsel to several municipal corporations and represents developers and other private clients and litigants on SEQRA issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fucillo was a trial attorney in the United States Navy JAG Corps, and subsequently, a Regional Attorney with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). As Regional Attorney, he was responsible for environmental enforcement and other legal affairs in DEC’s Region 7.
