Jeffrey A. Dove was a speaker at a New York State Bar Association Seminar
Attorney Jeffrey A. Dove spoke at a New York State Bar Association program entitled Practical Skills - Basics of Bankruptcy Practice on October 28, 2008 in Syracuse. The program covered the "nuts and bolts" of bankruptcy law and practice, as well as how to commence a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy case and the various ethical obligations of counsel for the debtors and their creditors.
Mr. Dove is a member of Menter, Rudin & Trivelpiece, P.C.’s Board of Directors and serves as the chair of the Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group. He has represented debtors in all phases of Chapter 11 cases, including contested litigation matters, as well as borrowers in out-of-court workouts. He has also served as counsel to senior secured lenders in out-of-court restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr. Dove has earned an AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating system, the highest ranking an attorney can receive from his peers. He has also been named to the Best Lawyers in America. On matters of bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation, Mr. Dove serves as a regular lecturer for the New York State Bar Association.
