Firm attorneys help revitalize downtown Syracuse
Attorney James Thoman is the President of the Board of Directors of Adapt CNY, Inc. Adapt CNY is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that recognizes the tremendous asset in Syracuse’s historic buildings and is committed to the revitalization of vacant and underutilized properties in the city’s downtown (www.savewilson.org).
Recently, attorneys from Menter, Rudin & Trivelpiece, P.C. participated in Adapt CNY's "Save Wilson" campaign. Adapt CNY coordinated teams of volunteers to clean out the historic Wilson Building, located on the 300 block of South Salina Street in downtown Syracuse. Through a series of Saturday and Sunday cleanouts, over one hundred volunteers removed approximately 400 cubic yards of debris from the vacant building to prepare it for redevelopment.
Firm volunteers included attorneys, Jeffrey Dove, Mitchell Katz, Julian Modesti, Thomas Fucillo, and James Thoman as well as Audrey Vrooman, a paralegal. All participants enjoyed exploring the building and doing their part to revitalize a Syracuse landmark.
