Mr. Dove was elected President and CEO of the firm in September, 2007.  He is also the chair of the Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group. He has represented debtors and creditors in all facets of Chapter 11 cases, including litigation and appellate practice. He has represented the debtor in several of the district's largest Chapter 11 cases, including cases involving regional agricultural cooperatives, telecommunications

enterprises and  multi-state department store and supermarket chains.   Mr. Dove has also represented major secured creditors in cases involving hospital reorganizations,  manufacturing conglomerates, alternative energy producers, and real estate developments. 

 

Mr. Dove appears regularly in bankruptcy courts in the Western and Northern Districts of New York, from Buffalo to Albany.  He has argued cases before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and has filed briefs with the United States Supreme Court both in support of and against the Court’s review of  lower court decisions.

 

Mr. Dove is a founding member of the Central New York Bankruptcy Bar Association. He has lectured and written for the New York State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Program, the National Business Institute and the Central New York Bankruptcy Bar Association.
